Answer #1

Two air craft are lending which is leading and trailing aircrafts.

First leading aircraft have speed of 150 knot while trailing aircraft have speed of 120 knots.

Leading aircraft need to cover distance of 6 nautical mile.

time required to cover this distance:

t= distance speed * 60

t 6 * 60 150

t = 2.4min

Trailing aircraft need to cover distance of 6 nautical mile and 5 nautical mile eatra because 5 nautical mile is distance between two airccrafts. Thus total 11 nautical mile distance need to cover by trailing aircraft.

t= distance speed * 60

t = 11 * 60 120

t = 5,5min

Time difference5.5min - 2.4min

= 3.1min

(A) 3.1 min is time difference between this two aircrafts.
