According to Right hand thumb
rule. When we align our right hand in such a way as shown in the
picture. That our thumb points the direction of current then our
four fingers will be giving the direction of magnetic field.
Hence we can see that if we apply this rule our finger direction is upwards at the point P hence we conclude that the direction of the magnetic field is upward which is nothing but OPTION B.
Do take care while aligning the hand. And see the direction at point P for better understanding.
