Answer #1

1. In pulmonary circuit blood flows from right ventricle to pulmonary arteries ---> lungs ---> pulmonary vein ---> left atrium.

In systemic circuit blood flows from left ventricle to aorta ---> body ---> vena cava ---> right atrium.

Right atrium opens into right ventricle and left atrium opens into left ventricle.

Thus the correct answer is option d: vena cava, heart, pulmonary vein, aorta, body.

2. Blood flows inyo the kidneys through renal artery and reaches the nephrons where it is filtered by the blood vessels of glomeruli. It then flows out of the kidneys through renal vein.

Thus the correct answer is option c: renal vein.

3. The endocrine glands are pineal gland, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, adrenal gland, pancreas, gonads(testis and ovary). And bone, kidneys, liver and heart have secomdary endocrine function.

Bladder or urinary bladder is a muscular organ that collect and store urine from kidneys before excretion from the body. So both kidney and bladder are excretory organs.

Thus the correct answer is option e.

4. Neutrophils are the most abundant (50 - 60 %) phagocytes circulating in the blood and are typically the first immune cells to arrive at the site of an infection.

Thus the correct answer is neutrophils.
