=0.067*0.067

=0.004489

=0.00449

(c) The probability of failure of three independent alarm clock will be 0.0673

=0.067*0.067*0.067

=0.00030

(d) Second and third alarm clocks result greatly improved reliability,

Ans : Yes,because total malfunction would not be impossible ,but it would be unlikely

since the probability of failure has been reduced from 0.067 to 0.00030

and sucess rate inceresing (1-0.067)% =93.3% to (1-0.0003) %=99.97%
