Yes, using money is one of the most common ways to stimulate the employee's performance and the motivation towards his/her job. Money is the basic extrinsic factor or motivational tool used by many or all organisations to stimulate better performance of the employee and make him/her feel motivated and satisfied in his/her job.

The best way to stimulate the employee's performance in a way that would benefit the organisation as well would be on the basis of employee's productivity and performance level. Better the employee would show the performance, more money would be rewarded. More money would be the reward would then stimulate the perofrmance even better thus making the employee to always challenge himself for his past performance and always increase and work for his full potential. This would not only increase the employee's morale, motivation, satisfaction and performance level in the organisation but also benefit the organisation because of the increased productivity and growth of the company.
