The correct option is b, selection bias. It is found most commonly in a randomized experimental study during selection of member for a case study measure and has a probability of being selected in population which is studied. So, to remove bias all participants are randomly selected.

Recall bias is an example of information bias cause due to alteration in accuracy of events.

Their is mainly three types of bias , selection bias, confounding , and information bias. Hawthorn effect and ecological fallacy is not a bias.

Hawthorn effect is a phenomenon in which behavior of an individual get change by hard working with respect to environment.

Ecological fallacy occur when wrong assumptions are made for an individual from a data .
