The eyeglass market can be seen as highly competitive market because of so many brands and style avialable to customer .But as it turn out the competition is very less in this market .,No there is no such role of the govt. because the market of eyeglass have usually high demand and less supply .That is why the available company or brand is able to sell the product .Now in this , some brand are there which charge very high just in the name of brand .While there are some non branded but stylish companies who provides cheap and best product to the customers that is why the competition is less but seems high .Also , if the govt. would intervene in this market probably chances are there that it would cause lower competition example by taxation , higher interest rate etc .
