effective potential difference

V = 15 + 20 - 25 = 10 V

voltage drop across R1

v1 = V * R1 / ( R1 + R2) = 10* 2 / ( 2 +2) = 5 V

power dissipated at R1

P1 = V1^2 / R1 = 12.5 W
