Process consultation model that was first of all proposed by Edgar Shein mainly based on the fundamental concept that the most effective solution of any situation or problem can be found and the solution can be effective for the longer period of time when the solution to the various issues are found and identified by the organization while learning the entire process of dealing with the issue. The process consultation depends on the foundation that helping relations are important to have a consultation.
If we look at the above description of the process consultation model, it is quite evident that this concept and model are very relevant and important in the present scenario as the current market environment is highly competitive and all the firms are competing with each other. If any type of problem is faced by the firms and organizations, its management, employees must be involved in finding the solution to the problem rather than relying on the external resources to get the solution. This will not only develop the environment of innovative thinking but also help the company to become more agile and competitive in the market that is quite important at this point in time where every firm is trying to capture the market share of others. This will also help in making the firm more innovative, forward-looking, and creative.
