Let X1 and X2 be the smaller and larger model respectively.

Null hypothesis: H_0:\mu _1=\mu _2

Alternate hypothesis:  H_A:\mu _1<\mu _2

11 and  112 are the population mean for the smaller and larger model respectively.

\overline{x_1}=125 ; \overline{x_2}=90 ; s_1=34 ; s_2=40 ; n_1=n_2=40

pooled standard deviation: s=\sqrt{\frac{(n_1-1)s_1^2+(n_2-1)s_2^2}{n_1+n_2-2}}=37.1214

test statistic:  t=\frac{(\overline{x_1}-\overline{x_2})}{s*\sqrt{\frac{1}{n_1}+\frac{1}{n_2}}}=4.22

degrees of freedom = n_1+n_2-2=78

p-value is calculated using p-value(one tailed) calculator by putting the values of the test statistic and degrees of freedom.
