7. Degrees of freedom = n - 1 = 15 - 1 = 14

Since we are testing whether the population mean difference is greater than 0, it will be a right tailed test. Hence, by using t table:

Critical value at 14 degrees of freedom and 0.01 significance level = 2.624

Therefore,

Criteria used for rejecting the null hypothesis will be:

Reject Ho if t > 2.624
