For this reason, it has become imperative for travellers to carefully plan for their accommodation. Information has been gathered to help travellers predict hotel bill based on the following elements: number of people in a hotel (AA) number of rooms in a hotel (AB), Hotel age (AC), number of beds in a room (AD), Internet connection (AE), Availability of washroom in a room (AF), Distance from hotel to airport (AG) and Traveller type (AH). The study primarily used primary data obtained from 84 travellers sampled for the process. Data was analysed using the correlation and regression analysis. The results from the correlation and regressions analysis are displayed in tables 1 and 2 respectively.

a) Dependent variable: Hotal Bill (HB)

Distance from hotel to airport:  AG

Traveller type: AH

b) Hotel bill is to be predicted by the traveller hence it is a dependent variable.

The other variables are the predictor variables or the independent variables that will help determine the Hotel Bill.

c) This may not be a case study to the complete extent since it misses the final report of the analysis.

d) Availability of washroom in a room: AF is the only variable which is significant at 1% level.

e) From the correlation table, Number of people in hotel (AA) had the weakest correlation with HB.

f) The model has a R2 value of  38, which means the independent variables explain only 38% of the variance, which does not seem to be very good.

g) Adjusted R2 is 31.4 and R2 is 38. The not so high difference in the 2 values imply that most of the independent variables are significant in the model .
