Please explain the different types of democratic systems. What is the ideal democratic system for Canada, what form would this take and why?
There are two types of democracy - direct democracy and indirect democracy. In the direct democracy people directly elect the candidate who rules the country. Here the people have a chance to elect directly the head of the state. In the indirect democracy we find that people select representatives and with the help of the representatives the head of the state is elected. In the indirect democracy people cannot directly participate to the selection of the ruler of the state. The representatives select who will rule the state.
In Canada we find the indirect democracy i.e., representative democracy. There is constitutional monarchy in Canada. But the real power is in the hand of the parliament. It is strong democratic system. The amendment of the constitution, the introduction of new laws, the important decisions regarding the states etc are taken by the parliament. The representatives select the prime minister. As there is constitutional monarchy, there is the system of prime minister. A balance between monarchy and democracy is maintained there.

5) Two ideal gas systems undergo reversible expansion under different conditions starting from the same P and V. At the end of the expansion, the two systems have the same volume. The pressure in the system that has undergone adiabatic expansion is lower than in the system that has undergone isothermal expansion. Explain this result without using equations.
