1. Hard power - It is a political power to use military and economic means to gain an influence over the behavior (or interest) of other political bodies.

2. Soft power- It is used especially in international politics. It is the ability which involves in shaping the preferences of other parties by appeal and attraction not by hard power.

3. Realism- It is to represent some subject matter truthfully and honestly without any manipulation and also without any artificiality.

4. Liberal Institutionalism- It is theory of international relations which tells us that international institutions and organizations like United Nations, European Union can increase aid and cooperation between states.

5. Anarchy- hierarchyIt is the state of a society which is being freely constituted without government. A situation in which a society or group of people exist who totally rejects a government.

6. Balance of power- It is a theory in international relations which suggests that states may secure their existence (or survival) by preventing any one other state from having enough military power to dominate all others.

7. The EU- European Union is a political and economic union of the 27 states. It has developed an internal single market through a system of laws that apply in all the member states on those matter where members have agreed to act as one.

8. IGOs- Intergovernmental organization is an organization which are established by a treaty that acts as a charter creating the group. Treaties are formed when lawful governments of several states go through a ratification process, providing the IGO with an international legal personality.

9. Cosmopolitanism- Variety of views in moral and socio-political philosophy. It is the idea that people regardless of their political affiliation, are (or can or should be) part of a single community.

10. Multilateralism- When minimum three or more governments participate together in a particular issue and try solving it.

11. The UN- United Nations - It is an intergovernmental organization which aims to assure international peace and security, to build friendly relations among nations, to achieve international cooperation, and to become a hub for harmonising the actions of nations.

12. European Coal and steel community- It was an organization of 6 European countries. It was created after the second World War to regulate their industrial production under a centralized authority.

13. EEC- It was created by the treaty of Rome (1957) and it was a regional organization that aimed to bring about economic integration among its member states.

14. Interdependence- In simple words it is the mutual dependence (in case of international relations dependence of countries on each other).

15. Eurozone- It is a monetary Union of the 19 members of the European Union. The members states who have adopted Euro as their common currency and sole legal tender come under this area (19 members).

16. Golden Arches Principle- It states that when a country has reached to certain economic development so that it is strong enough to support a "McDonald's network" and will not be interested in fighting wars anymore.

17. Schengen area- It is an area comprising twenty six European countries that have officially abolished all passport and all other types of border control at their mutual borders.

18.Brexit- It is nothing but just the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

19. Economic Globalization- It is the increasing interdependence of world economies due to the growing scale of cross-border trade of commodities and services, flow of international capital and wide and rapid spread of the technologies.
