SOLUTION :

g(x) = log5 (x + 4)

(4 + x)  > - 4

At x = - 4, g(x) = log5 (0) = - ∞

a.

Vertical asymptote is at x = -4, where g(x) is  - ∞ . (ANSWER).

b.

Domain is : x > - 4  I.e. ( - 4, ∞)  (ANSWER)

c.

Range is (- ∞, ∞) (ANSWER)
