Answer #1

Nonprofit organizations are of various types . It is following of the ethical issues of the relaxation of tax of the nonprofit organizations as these organizations are to provide free service to the people. There are many churches where many developmental programs are taken to spread and enhance education in the backward people.

In the first amendment there is not clearly stated whether the religious organizations are entitled to have relaxation from tax. On the other hand, it has not been also stated whether they are bound to pay tax when they are related to the nonprofitable activities.

It is a common matter that there must be an issue of vote. But in every step there is the issue of vote. Such matters are not related so intimately to the issue of vote. On the other hand, such organizations should be brought under some special regulations where the human development issues are related. When there is no commercial issue and the organizations are run by the volunteer service tax should not be imposed on them. It may hamper their human service. It will create an economic pressure on them and the organizations will have to face many problems.

In the first amendment it is said that the state must show respect to every religion and the religious freedom is granted as a fundamental rights. So, in such issue, there is no question of repealing the law. On the other hand, law should be implemented in such way that it is not misused.  So, the government should not surrender to the pressure of the opposition.
