Answer #1

There are in generall 3 widely accepted anomalies of Efficient Market Hypothesis (EMH). They are the

  • Size effect
  • Valuation effect and
  • Momentum effect

Evidence that has been found regarding the Size Effect:

  • Despite adjusting for their higher risks, stocks with smaller market capitalizations have historically outperformed stocks with large market capitalizations

Evidence that has been found regarding the Book-to-Market Ratio

  • Stocks with lower Price-to-Book multiples (Or higher book-to-Market multiples) have historically outperformed those with higher Price-to-Book multiples (Or lower book-to-Market multiples)

These evidence do not support EMH. They are contrary to EMH.

Evidence shows that share prices might not fully react to financial accounting information immediately and that abnormal returns might persist for a period of time following the release of information (a case of ‘post-announcement drift’). Does this indicate that securities markets are not efficient and that assumptions about market efficiency should be rejected? What, if any, effect would the size of...

Write a reflective paragraph summarizing your thoughts. Organizational change research has been criticized for neglecting the role of history in the study of change (Pettigrew et al., 2001). Much of the existing research tends to treat organizational change as “episodic” and comprising of independent events (Pettigrew, 1987, p. 655). More generally, research in organizational behavior has tended to ignore the theoretical and methodological significance of context in the examination of work attitudes and outcomes (Johns, 2006). In the studies reported...
