Mass Of the fluid, m = 30.6 kg

Cube side length,   a = 31 cm = 0.31 m

Solution :

Volume of cube , V = a^3 = 0.31^3 = 0.02979 m3

Weight of the fluid, F = mg = 30.6kg *(9.8 m/s2)= 299.88 N

Specific weight of the fluid : it is the weight of the fluid per unit volume.

Specific weight = weight of the fluid / volume

Hence specific weight of the given fluid = 299.88N/0.02979 m3 = 10066.44 N/m3 = 10.06 kN/m3

Approx answer is 10.1 kN/m3
