1. a) Right ✔ King Suddhodana was the father of Siddhartha Gautama, later known as the Buddha. He was a leader of the Shakya people, who lived in southern Nepal.

b) Wrong ✖ When siddhartha was born, Suddhodana was filled with wonder and himself worshipped the child. And when, at the ploughing ceremony, Suddhodana saw how the jambu-tree under which the child had been placed kept its shadow immoveable in order to protect him, and that the child was seated cross legged in the air, he again worshipped him again, but for the second time.

c) Wrong ✖ Rāhula was born on the day of Prince Siddhārta's renunciation, and was therefore named Rāhula, meaning a fetter on the path to enlightenment.

d) Right ✔ This expression occurs in those passages in the suttas where the qualities of a Buddha are described, namely: Truly, the Blessed One is holy, is fully enlightened, perfect in knowledge and conduct.

e) Right ✔ The Buddhist practices were against animal sacrifice on the premise that all living beings including sentient beings should not be killed but treated with compassion. No one ever argued against this noble declaration.
