  • Leishmaniasis is caused by leishmania which is an obligatory parasite.
  • The sand fly is very tiny which measures about 1-3 mm long.
  • The disease is most commonly found in southern Europe.

2)bone

  • Bone cells called osteocytes that are connected to each other via canaliculi.
  • Canaliculi are nothing but small passageway within the bone.
  • Apart from it's function of connecting cells, it also provides nutrition to the bone cells and also removes the waste from it.
