Melting point of saturated fatty acids is higher than the unsaturated fatty acid with same number of carbon .

Starting A and B fatty acids are saturated so they have the highest melting point than , C and D unsaturated fatty acids.

The C is trans isomer and D is cis isomer , with same number of carbon.

Cis isomer have the low melting point than the trans isomer . So the decreasing order of melting point in the following is ,

A > B > C > D

The fatty acid with lowest melting point is D
