1) Melting point is the temperature at which solid changes into liquid. Boiling point is the temperature at which liquid changes into gaseous state.

2) Melting point is term used for solid . Boiling point is term used for liquid .

3) At the boiling point , vapour pressure of liquid is equal to external pressure. But in case of melting , vapour pressure of solid is not equal to external pressure.
