It has laid emphasis on production of rails in own country and has recently launched Vande Bharat Express which is made in India. It is continuing to expand its rail network too. It has 253 airports as on 2014 which is kept on increasing in number.
Thus, India has extended it's transport infracture to wide.
• Another developing and emerging nation China has also made use of it's transport infrastructure to wide advantage for country. China has second largest rail network in the world with a growth of rail line of 120,970 km in 2015 which is growing till now. China has a fastest growing road network which doubled between 1990 and 2003 from 95,000 to 208,000. It is also kept on going. China had total of 500 airways as on 2007 which is also on the path of progress.
Thus, China has also improved it's transport infrastucture to wide.
• Several other develpoing countries in world like Thailand, Mexico etc. have also develpoed their transport infrastructure to the advantage of domestic and global economy for growth purpose.
• Seeing the worth and benefits of transport infrastructure in developing countries several international monetary organisation like Asian Development Banks, International Monetary Fund, World Bank etc. also grants funds to developing nations for transport infrastucture development for the betterment of domestic and global economy.
