Describe one of the constraints faced by smallholder farmers in many developing countries and explain how market access can reduce or eliminate this constraint.
One of the important constraint faced by smallholder farmers in developing countries are mechanisation. This constraint will affect their level of production and productivity. The smallholding farmers were lack of financial assistance to adopt ne mechanisation processes. Most of the new technologies implemented in agriculture sectors are very expensive. Scarcity of water is also considered as the most important problem among farmers. Most of the new technologies were used only in urban agricultural sector and high income generating farmers in agricultural sector. The low access towards the mechanisation will retards the agricultural development and this will hinder the productivity also.
One of the measure to eliminate this constraint is introduction of subsidy to new technologies and instruments used for agricultural production. This subsidy will help to access the small farmers to get these new methods. Proper awareness regarding the new technology among the farmers will help them to know about the advanced technology. This will help them to take advantage over there production process and this will provide awareness among the farmers regarding the high yield seeds and crops.

Explain the ethical and economic implications of paying above-market wages to factory workers in developing countries.
Many developing countries seek to develop export markets, because people in wealthier countries have more ability to buy products than people in their own countries. They can produce goods more cheaply due to lower labor costs, and often, fewer environmental restrictions on production. What factors would a company consider in deciding where to locate its production? What factors would a developing country consider in deciding whether to increase environmental protections?
