It’s false that one’s class is not affected by race, gender or religion.

One of the most important things about social class is that it would be affected by one’s race, religion and gender due to the opportunities available for them. Accumulated advantage and privileges of the race and gender would largely impact one’s opportunities thus would have greater impact in terms of one’s education, employment, housing, healthcare and property opportunities in the society which would in turn determine one’s class.

Second wave feminists hold that choice is a central tenets of feminism, and pay significant attention to issues such as gendered violence and reproductive rights, and they also agree that any issue a feminist finds important can and should be talked about.

While first wave feminists fought for basic rights such as, education, employment, property etc. second wave feminists fought for their rights to decide things on their own. It was a fight for choice to decide who they one would marry, choice to decide whether a woman wish to stay with a man, a choice to decide about abortion and a choice to engage in activities of their interest.
