The different energy usages in a class room are lights, fans, computers, projectors, television screens, heaters, coolers, wifi routers, speakers.
The methods of energy saving are:
Switching to fluorescent lights and LEDs as the lights are the most used devices.
Also using skylights if possible.using natural sunlight to maximum extent possible will limit usage of artificial lights.
Changing televisions to LED with high power ratings that consume less energy will also save power.
Investing in better heating/cooling equupments for air conditioning.using ceiling fans and window fans to increase airflow.
Keeping door closed or using automatic door closers in room with air-conditioning equipment.
Turnoff computer andother electrical equipments like projectors/screens during breaks ,weekends and holidays to limit power usage.
