Coronavirus has made a very vast impact on our lives and we have moved towards a new normal in our life. The pandemic has affected our lives and still, it is being spread in lots of people and still taking lots of lives in the U.S. The spread of coronavirus is hampering the lives of all the US citizens and they are the ones who are most affected by the spread of the coronavirus and more than 1.5 lacs of people have died in the country and the number is still rising. As we all are aware that the coronavirus spreads through droplets which spread through coughing and sneezing and that is why it is recommended to use a face mask which is the only thing available for remaining secured from the virus. There is still no vaccine available for the infectious disease and thus it is advised for wearing a face mask when we are in public. This is the most effective way that we can fight against the coronavirus spread.

Restaurants are the place where there are people gatherings and people come in large numbers. So, there are more chances of getting contacted to a person who is already infected with the coronavirus. During the lockdown, all the businesses have faced a lot of financial crisis so the government has to uplift the lockdown to give some oxygen to the slower economy. The restaurants have been locked and hospitality and tourism are the two most affected businesses all around the globe. Due to lockdown, people were not coming out and thus the restaurant business was put at a halt and faced a lot of losses due to all these problems.

As the lockdown is uplifted the government has made it compulsory to wear masks as it is suggested by WHO that there is no medicine for the virus and it can be only curtailed through wearing masks. So, it is advised to wear face masks at public places so that the virus spread can be stopped. Social distancing, washing hands and face masks are the tools by which we can limit the spread of this infectious disease.

People are advised to wear masks even at the restaurants and so that the virus spread can be curtailed. It is not wrong in making face mask mandatory in te restaurants because safety is the top priority of both the customers and the employees who are working in the restaurants. It can be spread with pity negligence and the people can face drastic consequences due to that. So, face coverings in the restaurant is a good decision for the restaurants and it must be welcomed.
