a) Polygycine is extended 31-helix is hydrogen bonded to the six parallel neighboring chains packed in a hexagonal array. Thus, the monomers are arranged in chain and not step manner to form polymer. Here, glycine amino acids are the building blocks for the Polygycine polymer. Thus, Polygycine has chain growth.

b) Tacticity is the stereochemical arrangement of the units in the main chain of a polymer. The glycine amino acid are linearly arranged and so they are atactic in nature.
