the performance of nozzle with inlet area of 800cm2 operating at a steady state is to be investigate. when steam flows in at 2.5m3/s, 1200c and 5Mpa the exit velocity was observed to be 100m/s. To investigate the nozzle's perfomance, steam will be made to flow in a various rates while maintaining the same inlet temperature and pressure. Select 2 different values of inlet velocities in the range of 15 to 30m/s and subsequently plot the exit enthalphy in kJ/kg as a function of exit velocity for these two case.

Enthalpy value reduces at exit velocity increases . As we know that by conservation of energy the total energy at inlet and exit has to remain constant

Thus when one value increase other has to decrease
