General form of electromagnetic wave equation is

B = Bo sin(kz +/- at)

With +ve sign between kz and wt, wave travels along

-ve direction of z axis and with -ve between the two, wave travels along +ve direction of z axis and speed of wave is w/k.

Hence wave velocity

v = - (7.82×10^15 rad/s / 4.32×10^7 rad/m) k

= - 1.81×10^7 k m/s
