Explain how you would measure the following electrical
quantities
i. Low resistance
ii. High resistance
iii. Electrical energy
1) Low resistance
To measure low resistance there are different methods one of them is four wire method where the small amount of current is passed through the leads which are connected to resistance then there is voltage drop across the resistance which is negligible by getting values of current and voltage we can measure the low resistance
2) High resistance :
To measure high resistance there are two methods they are constant voltage method and constant current method
In constant voltage method
to find unknown resistance in the circuit we place voltage source in series with the resistance when voltage applied in the circuit then we can find current flowing in the resistor by ammeter we can get current value by using ohms law R = V / I .
3) Electrical energy :
Measurement of energy in the circuit it dependent on power in the circuit by using multimeter we can find voltage and current in the circuit
Power = V * I
After finding power in the circuit We can measure energy
Electrical energy = Power * Time
