The sales of XYZ Corporation in 2 consecutive years were $ 9.00* 105 and $ 1.17*106 respectively.

The change in sales is $ 1.17*106 - 9.00* 105 = $ 0.27 *106 or, $ 2.7* 105.

Thus, the percentage increase in the sales of XYZ Corporation is (2.7* 105 /9.00* 105)*100 % = 30 %.
