Answer #1

1. The direction of force is along ' C'.

Two wires carrying current in the same direction will attract each other. Hence from the choices the options a and b are neglected. Now using left hand rule we get 'c' as the answer.

2. Clockwise direction.

Area is constant. But changing magnetic field results in change in magnetic flux. Hence there is an induced emf thus an induced current. The induced magnetic field is opposite to the applied field. That is into the page. For this using right hane rule the induced current must be in clockwise direction.
