(i)
Computer numerical control is the process which is used in the manufacturing companies or sector, it involves the control of machine tools using computer.
In this process computer executes preprogrammed sequences.
Where as conventional numeric controls is not successful now. Earlier in the 40's and 50's, there were m/cs that were used puch cards to operate simple programs rather than computer used in CNC. That tape can be used for same part again n again. Now in CNC these punch cards and Tapes are replaced by the computers. Which are much flexible, faster and easier.
