Materials : Insufficient lifeboats and Insufficient life saving equipment

Machine : Not strong enough hull that broke the steel sheets and Brittle rivets that fractured easily to break steel structure.

Mother nature : Icebergs & Cold freezing water and Invisibility due to fog & Night.

Misunderstanding : SOS rockets as fireworks that misguided life saving boats and Misunderstanding of distance between ship and iceberg.

Management : Poor management in controlling ship by the engineers to avoid collision and poor management by the life-saving guards after collision.
