i am using minitab to solve the problem.

steps:-

copy the data in minitab and name the column x 1596060324262_blob.png stat 1596060324229_blob.png basic statistics 1596060324571_blob.png display descriptive statistics 1596060324497_blob.png in variables select x 1596060324364_blob.pngstatistics 1596060324497_blob.png tick first quartile., median, third quartile,minimum,maximum1596060324478_blob.pngok1596060324480_blob.pngok.

*** SOLUTION***

a). Q_{1}=\mathbf{153.25}

Q_{3}=\mathbf{173.50}

\mathbf{interquartile\ range}=Q_{3}-Q_{1}=173.50-153.25=\mathbf{20.25}

b).the five number summary be:-

\mathbf{140,153.25,165 .50,173.50,179}

[ in 5 number summary values are written in order mimimum,Q1, median,Q3, maximum ]

c).the correct boxplot be:-

[just plot the 5 number summary ..you will get the boxplot ]

the data are left-skewed. because the left tail is longer than the right tail.
