The answer is (a) suppressed evidence as relevant information has been left out of the argument. Just because the average minimum wage in US has been less than $2 an hour in the past 100 years, it does not automatically mean that the trend will continue for the next 100 years. There are specific policy and economic reasons behind why the minimum wages were at $2 in the past 100 years and without addressing them and how they are going to change in the next 100 years, there is suppressed evidence.
