    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Christopher has had a very rough few months since his 22nd birthday. First his job let him go, then his girlfriend dumped him, and now he’s running out of money. He started to believe that people were listening to his thoughts through the fillings in his teeth. He’s not sure who is listening, but he thinks the government must be monitoring and they are responsible for all of his recent hardships. To deal with his stress, Chris turned to heavy drinking. This only made problems worse, and soon he found himself evicted from his apartment. While couch surfing with his friends gave him a place to stay at night, Christopher knew that he couldn’t do this forever. He kept trying to find a job, but was becoming increasingly frustrated. To make matters worse, recently he has started to suspect that his friends are talking about him behind his back and plotting to kill him. They think he’s worthless, and Christopher isn’t sure he disagrees with them.

Christopher’s friends have grown very concerned about his recent behavior and after several conversations have finally convinced him to see a therapist. His therapist believes that Christopher’s symptoms are very serious, and prescribes some medication to help him get “back on track.” Soon Christopher’s symptoms begin to lessen. He decides to continue seeing his therapist, who also suggests he attend a local AA meeting. Christopher does so and realizes that his tendency towards alcohol may be at the root of a lot of his problems. However, with the help of his therapist and the support of his friends he believes he can get through this.
