Answer #1

Answer a. There is strong, positive and linear relationship between husband's and wife's height. That is as the height of husband increases, the wife's height also increases and vice-versa

Answer b. Slope Coefficient= 0.2863

This means that for every one inch increase in the height of husband, the wife's height it will increase by 0.2863 inches on an average.

Answer c. Y-intercept is 43.5755

This means that if husband height is 0 inches even then the wife's height will be 43.5755 inches.

However in this context Y-intercept does not make sense since husband's height cannot be 0 inches.

Answer d. yes since the scatter plot is quite tightly packed showing good linear relationship
