Answer #1

Murdock made four suggestions about the nuclear family system . Let us discuss two of them .

The first assumption made by urdock is that nuclear family structure helps the individuals to meet the needs such as food and shelter which are basic in nature .We can use a real life example to explain this .As John is a teen who is living with his parents . John is provided food and shelter by his family which is vital for survival . This creates a base for John in order to think about other things .

The second assumption made by murdock was socialization which is done in the nuclear family structure . It helps in teaching the young and small one about the basic values and norms of the society . We can take example of a young small child who is introduced to the society and taught morally acceptable behavior or norms such as table manners , or not talking loud in a public place .
