Here we have given that,

M = 20 kg

V = 100 m/s

Angular momentum at minor axis L = 75,000 kg m/s²

Now as here the application of conservation of angular momentum will be applicable as,

Angular momentum at major axis = angular momentum at minor axis

MVR = L

R = L/MV = 75000/20×100 = 37.5 m

Hence the radius of orbit at the end of major axis will be ,

R = 37.5 m
