Answer #1

5. 0.1131=1-0.8869= 1-\Phi (1.21)=\Phi (-1.21)

For the entry 0.1131 in the standard normal table, the associated Z score is -1.21.

6.

Here X follows the standard normal disstribution.

P(X<-0.11)=\Phi (-0.11)=1-\Phi (0.11)=1-0.5438=0.4562

For standard normal Variable

P(X<a)=\Phi (a)

Since,  \Phi (-a)=1-\Phi (a)

P(X>1.46)=1-P(X\leq 1.46)=1-\Phi (1.46)=1-0.9278=0.0722

P(0.15<X<2)=\Phi (2)-\Phi (0.15)=0.9772-0.5596=0.4176

For standard normal Variable

since, P(a<X<b)=\Phi (b)-\Phi (a)
