The glycolysis is the process of conversion of glucose in the 2 pyruvate molecules. This is a 10 step process and involves the breakdown of glucose. In this process the energy molecules are produced in the form of ATP and NADH. In the 4th step of glycolysis the fructose 1,6-biphosphate is converted into dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate. This reaction is catalyzed by the aldolase.
