American Nurses Association is a professional organization that was started with aim of protecting Nursing profession.This was actually started in 1896.Initially this is called as Nurses associated Alumnae.This was later named as American Nurses Association in 1911.

The major goal of the organization is to enhance the provision of nursing care for soldiers.It is involved in establishing the standards of nursing practice,promotion of the rights of the nurses in working environment.

Required licensures are NCLEX-RN that is National Council Licensure Examination.Training is 4 years Bachelor Nursing.
