The Coefficient of skewness is given by

\beta={\bar{x}- \tilde{x} \over s}

Where,

\bar{x}=\text{ Mean}= {3 +5 +7+ 9 +11+ 15+ 21+ 22 \over 8 } =11.625

\tilde{x}=\text{ Median}= { 9 +11 \over 2 } =10 central value

and

{s=\text{sample standard deviation}= {(3-11.625)^2 +(5-11.625)^2 +\cdots+ (22-11.625)^2\over 8 -1} \approx 7.11 }

Hence the coefficient of skewness is equal to

\beta={11.625-10 \over 7.11}\approx 0.23
