Given that: R1 = 125 Ohms; R2 = 1200 Ohms and R3 = 605 Ohms

The equivalent resistance of resistances R1 and R2 is given by

\frac{1}{R} = \frac{1}{R_{1}} + \frac{1}{R_{2}}

or R= (\frac{125\times1200 }{125+1200})

or   R= 113.21 \Omega

Now R and R3 will be in series. Then, the total resistance for given circuit is given by

RT = R + R3

or RT = 113.21Ω + 605Ω

or RT = 718.21Ω
