The diagram of the grain dosing hopper is attached below. The function of grain dosing hopper is to segregate the grains according to their size. As the material (grains) enters the hopper from the top, due to the vibration in the hopper, the material which are bulkier and have high density are brought leaving lighter material on the top. The conveyor is attached at the bottom to take the heavy grains out of the hopper. The gearbox and the control system are attached to adjust the speed so that the separation process is smooth depending upon the grains available within the hopper.
