Many security researchers say that governments need to pass new laws to catch up to new technologies. If you were a member of parliament, briefly describe 5 laws that you believe would make the Internet safer and state why this would make us safer.

Ans: Being a member of the parliament, the 5 laws that would make the internet safer would be:

1. Keeping a policy of changing passwords every two weeks. This will enable the users to reset their passwords every 2nd week and hence till the time they get attacked or any2one tries to fraud them they are safe again. Also, regularly changing the passwords would help them be active and observant what's happening in their account.

2. Deploying more secure algorithms and systems which ensure that the content posted on the internet is safe and doesn't contain any fraudulent stuff. Ensuring their no fake stuff uploaded on the internet, if anything is uploaded it automatically gets removed as inappropriate content from the net.

3.Ensuring social accounts are secure. All the users regularly observe their activity on the social accounts. If a user is inactive for some time then his or her account get's temporary disabled.

4. Multiple verification steps when there's a transaction online. It may seem tedious for and time-consuming for the user but then it should be there to ensure there are no fraudulent or fake transactions by any other person from the owner's account.

5. Making the network of the users masked as this will not allow the users to get their private network exposed to hackers or fake people browsing the internet. Also, this will prevent people from sending phishing emails, messages to the users and hence ensuring their privacy over the internet.

I guess the following steps will help the user to ensure his/her safety over the internet.
