How can we work to minimize the need for generalization programming and with examples list five strategies for promoting generalization
Generalization applies the same general information to an
indefinite number of instances, but is not inferential in nature.
Once a particular experience is generalized to another experience,
you can conclude that it is generic to that experience.
Generalization is a powerful technique. For example, if we want to
figure out whether you can derive social truths from people's
intentions, we can start by asking people which actions they think
people would do if they really were intending to do those actions.
If we cannot generalize the people's intent, we don't have a proof.
If we can generalize their intent, we have a proof. Generalization
has always had a considerable place in psychology because most
behavior, including reasoning, is a product of generalization. Five
strategies for promoting the psychology of generalization are : 1.
Advocacy- In advocacy, one strives to influence the practice of
science. This can be done by funding specific research programs
(e.g., academic institutions, professional associations,
foundations), or it can be done by advocating for the scientific
issues of interest to the general public. Public engagement can
entail speaking out, writing editorials, performing interviews, or
engaging the media to describe science as important and to promote
its use by society and by the news media. 2. Problem oriented
enquiry-thinking about the problem and determining the best
possible answer, before any question is asked. The researcher's
goal is to get to the root cause by considering both sides of
issues. 3. Developing scientific evidence- Scientific evidence is
organized into those types of cases that can be addressed by a
scientific hypothesis (e.g., drug effects on cardiovascular health)
and those cases that can not. Science advocates therefore must
determine the relative importance of science-based advocacy for a
particular person, population, or disease. They must understand the
concepts and issues associated with each of the various cases. For
example, for any topic that causes physical harm, a scientist may
advance a hypothesis for developing a medication to treat the
problem (e.g., drug effects on cardiovascular health). 4. Engaging
in dialogue- A common aspect of persuasive communication techniques
is the ability to persuade others from different ideologies,
attitudes, beliefs, or social backgrounds to do the same.
5.Encouraging collegiality- Researchers believe that the ability to
establish cooperation and trust is fundamental in helping a child
develop better relationships. A psychologist who has studied such
behavior in children is noted that the use of generalization to
promote healthy relationships is related with psychological factors
that have to do with self-esteem. Moreover, generalization is a way
to overcome difficulties due to differences in behavior.

How can we measure space/memory efficiency in Java Programming? Is it possible to do so with Big O Notation to an extent? I was told that while the element of speed is important, in some systems you need to be concerned about being lightweight as well (even at the cost of speed). In some embedded systems you might need to severely limit the amount of memory available to a device. How would you approach a solution to that sort of...
List at least three examples of how living things can differ. List at least three traits or processes that all living things have in common.
We are a new start-up company with five to eight employees. I know we need a server and office network. We need software to create animations and apps. And we want to get our own website. I've looked online at different servers this has only made choosing one even harder. We are lost, I guess what we need is a simple server for our accounting software, shared files, and e-mail/Internet. Please be as specific as possible on the specs. We...

I need short answers for these questions pleas 1) Discuss the five-fallacies of racism, and examples of each. Why would it be so easy for some to "fall into these beliefs" and what can be done to help discourse on why they are problematic? 2) Discuss our immigration and citizenship timeline. How was whiteness first defined, and how did it evolve over time? Who could become naturalized citizens, and how did U.S. Iaw define whiteness? 3) What do the Colorblind...
