Deionized water : In deionized water no ions are present , which means no dissolved mineral salts are present . Deionized water is produced by ion exchanged resins. Ion exchange resins remove non desirable cations and anons from water.

Impurities like salts of Calcium , Magnesium , Iron, Sodium , Chloride, Sulphate , Nitrate , Bicarbonate and toxic heavy metals are removed by deionization of water.

Neutral organic pollutants and microbes are not removed by deionization of water.
